The Italian lakes,a resource to be discovered again

In Italy we have some of the most beautiful lakes in the world, but they seems to be really underrated.  I fell soon in love with Bolsena and Como’s lakes.

Bolsena is the biggest European crater lake and also the cleanest in Italy. Its water so crystal clear, waged by wind and surrounded by earth. Here below, Montefiascone (Bolsena), a little town famous for his wine, Est est est

Alongside the lake you’ll find many villages, so little as pretty; it’s a real pleasure to pass through them and to find so close to a quiet, small plage. Marta, Gradoli and Capodimonte are the most visited places, and you have just to walk around to understand why.

Speaking of Como’s lake, it changes a lot.  A wonderful little town overlooking Lario, the deepest lake in Italy.
I arrived in Como by train, and after crossing the city on foot, it was almost a surprise to find myself in front of the lake, near the Duomo.

On the shore of the lake, just outside the historic center, there is a pretty park surrounded by Villa Saporiti. An historic town, full of fountains and benches, where you can look the frantic ferry movements bringing tourists to a nice lake tour.

I love all Italian lakes!
