In the municipality of Sant Joan de Labritja there is the famous beach of Cala San Vicente, it’s at more than 30 kilometers from Eivissa (Old Town of Ibiza) and around 9 kilometers from the center of Sant Joan de Labritja.
Surrounded by pine-clad mountains, Cala San Vicente at first sight gives the feeling of being a small Mediterranean oasis with a clear and spectacular water, in fact it’s not a coincidence that most of the residents of the island (and myself) consider it the most beautiful.
The Cala measures 400 meters in length and 30 in width, surrounded by the homonymous promenade of tiles, recently inaugurated in 2002, along which are located bars, restaurants (recommended: Can Gat, On the Beach, Restaurante Playa San Vicente and Es Calò), markets (two Spar with reasonable prices) and the Tourist village of Grupotel Imperio Playa (Widely recommended for those who love the villages).
The Cala is also a destination for lovers of diving, thanks to the presence of Mundo Azul Diving Center; always on the beach, it’s possible rent boats, dinghies and pedal boats, and practice sailing and powerboating.
My advice to those who will travel to Ibiza, is to visit this beautiful beach, between all the beaches I visited (and they are many) I put this Cala on the top of my preferences.
